"We ended up waiting a little..."
We ended up waiting a little longer than I expected, but it was during a busy time, so that’s not too surprising. Common sense says places get backed up when everyone shows up at once. The staff kept things moving as best they could, and no one was rude, which made it easier to deal with.

Once we got in, everything went fine and we had a good time. I’d give it 4 stars because the wait could definitely be improved, but it didn’t ruin the visit or anything

"Drinks were fine, just nothing special"
I went in thinking the drinks would be a little better, but they were just okay. My cocktail was fine, I mean, it wasn’t bad, but it felt kind of weak and had way too much ice. My friend got a beer and said it tasted fresh, so there was that. Service was decent too. But if I’m just talking about the drinks, I’d say they’re average. Not terrible, just not something I’d go out of my way for

"Food just wasn’t great tbh"
I was kinda dissapointed with the food. It tasted bland and a little like it had been sitting around too long. Not the worst ever, but I wouldnt really go back for it.

"Happy hour didn’t really live up to the hype"
I checked out the happy hour after seeing it on recroomhb.com, and it looked a lot better online than it felt in person. The drinks were fine, but nothing special, and the food portions were small. Service was also slow, and what made it more frustrating was how little actual human interaction there was. It felt like I was just kind of left to figure things out instead of being taken care of. Not the worst experience ever, but I’m not in a hurry to go back.

"Friendly enough, but about average"
The staff were mostly nice and greeted me, which I appreciated. I did feel a little rushed around the times I had questions, and one person seemed kind of annoyed. It wasn’t a bad experience, just about average service overall.

"Seats could definitely be better"
I sat through one game and, totally fine, no big deal or anything, but my back was already hurting by the end. The seats just weren’t comfortable at all, which made it kind of hard to enjoy the game.

"Too loud for what we paid"
The place was okay, but the music was so loud we could barely have a conversation. For the price, I was hoping for a more comfortable experience where we could actually talk and enjoy ourselves

"I went mainly for the live entertainment, and..."
I went mainly for the live entertainment, and as someone who usually really enjoys a good live set, I was kind of disappointed. The sound was way too loud in certain areas, and it was hard to make out the vocals at times. The staff were perfectly fine, no complaints there, but the whole show just felt a bit unpolished and messy. Maybe it was just an off night, so I’d be open to trying it again sometime.

"Not really worth it for me"
I expected a lot more for the price. It just felt like everything was priced higher than it should’ve been, and the value wasn’t really there. I don’t mind spending a bit more if it feels worth it, but this didn’t. I feel like I could’ve found something similar for around the same quality somewhere else for less. Disappointing overall

"Parking was surprisingly easy"
I went to Rec Room HB last weekend and, to be fair, I was expecting parking to be a bit of a headache. But it ended up being way easier than I thought, and I found a spot close without having to circle around forever.
That kind of thing makes a big difference when you’re just trying to meet up with friends and enjoy the night. I can’t speak for every busy weekend, but my experience was smooth and low-stress overall.

"Plenty to choose from"
The menu had a lot of options, from burgers to drinks and snacks. It was easy to find something for everyone, which is always nice. compared to some other places.....

"Crowded night, but I still felt comfortable"
I went on a weekend night and it was definitely busy, but it didn’t feel chaotic or sketchy. The staff seemed on top of things and were paying attention, which helped me feel safe. The lines did get a little frustrating, and a few spots were way too packed for my liking, so it wasn’t perfect. Small win for me though: I somehow managed to find a decent spot to hang out without being totally squeezed in. Overall, I had a good time and I’d go back, probably on a less crowded day next time

"Pretty disappointing event experience"
Maybe I just had higher expectations, but the event setup really didn’t feel great to me. It seemed kind of disorganized, and overall I left feeling disappointed.

"Vibe just wasn’t for me"
I tried it out, but the vibe felt a little off to me. Anyway, it might work for someone else, but it just wasn’t really my thing.

"Felt grimy overall"
I couldn’t really get past how dirty the place felt. The tables were sticky everywhere, and it was the kind of sticky where your sleeve catches a little if you rest your arm down. Even the edges of the table felt tacky, like they hadn’t been wiped properly in a while.

"Honestly, quick overall"
I ordered from The Rec Room and, the service was quicker than I thought it’d be. They kept me updated without me having to bug anyone, which I really appreciated. There was a tiny delay at the beginning, so I’m sticking with 4 stars for that. BUT suddenly, everything started moving fast after that, and the whole thing ended up being smooth

"Felt overlooked"
We stopped in expecting a decent visit, but the staff barely seemed to notice us. A few people walked right past without checking in, and we ended up having to ask twice before getting any help. I’m easygoing, but that kind of service just doesn’t make for a good experience
